You go straight across the first two roundabouts after coming off the motorway and at the third (Tesco's roundabout) take the Southam road (third exit). Turn left at the next roundabout (about 800 metres after the Tesco roundabout) on to Dukes Meadow Drive. Go straight across the first roundabout and turn left at the second. Take the first right and go round the one way roundabout and you come to a little shopping area. The Community Centre is next to the pub. There is parking there. Notes The map that is generated automatically from the postcode is misleading: use this map instead.

The church is on the fairly steep section on the way up Rose Hill itself (or down the hill if you've come past the Rose Hill shops from the ring road), somewhat over 100 metres above the traffic lights where Henley Avenue becomes Rose Hill. Off-road parking is available, the entrance to which is at the top of the service road on the same side of the road as, and a very short way down from, the church itself. There should be no difficulty if you are using public transport in Oxford. Just take a No. 3 or 3a bus from Queen Street in the centre of town, ask the driver for the Westbury Crescent stop, and walk back down Rose Hill to the Church. The entrance to the Chess Club is round at the left hand side of the church as you view it from the road. You can see a picture of the church here.

Visiting captains should be aware that one of our match rooms is up a flight of stairs and that all toilets are downstairs. The usual access to the building for chessplayers is via a side passage and through a narrow door with a step up. If your team has any players with limited mobility or who may need quick access to a toilet, then please contact us in advance so that we can organize an alternative room and ensure the main door is unlocked. The main door is a wide double door with level access. There are three individual unisex toilets downstairs, one of which is a disabled toilet just inside the main door.
